Warranty Policy

At Fish Tale, we take pride in crafting exquisite fine jewellery, using stainless steel and sterling silver as a base and plated with premium layers of 18K yellow gold, or rose gold. While our pieces are designed to shine and impress, it’s important to note that plated jewellery is not solid gold. Over time, the plating may naturally wear, but with proper care, you can enjoy the beauty and brilliance of your Fish Tale jewellery for years.


Quality Assurance

We take every step to ensure our jewellery meets the highest standards. Each piece is carefully checked by our manufacturer, reviewed by our office team, and inspected by our dispatch team. While we strive for perfection, rare faults may occasionally occur.


Warranty

All jewellery purchased from our online store comes with a 3-month warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing faults and defects only. It does not cover accidental damage or general wear and tear, including fading, scratches, or oxidation.
To maintain your warranty, jewellery must be worn and cared for according to our Jewellery Care Guide. Failure to follow these instructions will void the warranty.

Our products also come with consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, and repair or replacement if the goods are not of acceptable quality, provided the failure is not classified as major.

Faulty items are eligible only for replacement of the same item. Exchanges or refunds are not available for warranty claims.
