Waterproof Stainless Steel Jewellery

Our stainless steel pieces are made to be worn in the shower, at the pool, and by the ocean.
For long-lasting shine, we recommend:

• Rinsing your jewellery with fresh water after exposure to salt water, chlorine, or sweat
• Gently patting dry with a soft cloth
• Storing your pieces separately to avoid surface scratches
• Avoiding direct contact with strong chemicals, perfumes, and abrasive surfaces

These steps help maintain the shine, colour, and durability of your jewellery.

Water-Resistant Sterling Silver Jewellery

Our sterling silver pieces are made from genuine 925 sterling silver and are designed for everyday wear. Sterling silver is water resistant and can handle light water exposure, such as splashes or occasional contact with water.

However, sterling silver is more delicate than stainless steel and should be cared for more gently to maintain its shine and finish over time.

For long-lasting shine, we recommend:

• Avoiding ocean water, chlorine, and long exposure to water
• Removing before swimming, exercising, or using strong chemicals
• Avoiding direct contact with perfumes, lotions, sunscreen, and cleaning products
• Gently patting dry if your jewellery gets wet
• Storing your pieces separately in a dry place to reduce scratches and tarnishing

Over time, sterling silver can naturally oxidise or darken due to normal wear, skin oils, moisture, air exposure, and contact with chemicals. This is a normal characteristic of 925 silver and can usually be cleaned and restored with gentle care.

How to Clean Your Jewellery

If your jewellery becomes dull from natural skin oils or gets a little dirty along the way, here’s how to refresh it:

1. Mix a small drop of mild dish soap with 1 cup of warm water.
2. Soak your jewellery for 2–3 minutes.
3. Gently clean using your fingertips or a soft cloth to lift any dirt or oils.
4. Rinse well with clean water.
5. Pat dry thoroughly with a soft towel.

Regular gentle cleaning will help your pieces maintain their shine and stay looking as new.

How to Clean Oxidised Sterling Silver

If your 925 sterling silver jewellery becomes slightly dark or oxidised, this is normal and can happen with regular wear.

To refresh oxidised sterling silver:

1. Use a soft sterling silver polishing cloth.
2. Gently rub the jewellery until the shine starts to return.
3. Avoid scrubbing too hard, especially on plated, stone-set, or delicate pieces.
4. For detailed areas, clean gently with a soft cloth or cotton bud.
5. Store in a dry pouch or jewellery box after cleaning.

Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, toothpaste, or rough cloths, as these may damage the finish, plating, or stones.

For 18k gold-plated sterling silver, use extra gentle care and avoid heavy polishing, as strong rubbing may affect the gold-plated finish over time.
